Organized and conducted an awareness workshop on Domestic Violence for the law students of Maldives National University in collaboration with Maldives National University Student’s Union.
Celebrated One Billion Rising Campaign with the law students of Maldives National University in collaboration with Maldives National University Student’s Union and assistance from Sun Media Group.

Organized and held awareness sessions on Family Act and Domestic Violence Prevention Act for the women and girls of Raa Atoll Angolhitheemu in collaboration with the Women’s Development Committee and Island Council of Raa Atoll Angolhitheemu to mark the 16 Days of Activism 2016.

Participated in the Family Evening organized by Family Protection Authority in collaboration with Hope for Women to celebrate the 16 Days of Activism 2016 to raise awareness on family law and prevention of domestic violence law.
Participated in the “Katti Hihvaru Fest 2016” organized by Dhi Youth Movement to raise awareness on family law and prevention of domestic violence law.

Conducted training on Prevention of Domestic Violence Act and Family Act for the second round of pro bono lawyers recruited to FLC.
Conducted an awareness raising event on prevention of domestic violence for Parents' Association of Thaajudheen School on the occasion of International Women's Day. The event included a pop-up clinic where consultation advice from pro bono lawyers were provided.
Conducted Training Program for second round of pro bono lawyers on Domestic Violence and Gender Based Violence in collaboration with Society for Health Education.

Participated in "Magumathy Forum" organised by the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives to raise awareness on prevention of domestic violence.

Family Legal Clinic was incorporated as a project under Hope for Women.
Commenced pro bono legal consultation services to the public.

To mark 16 Days of Activism, organized and held an awareness raising campaign on services available in prevention of domestic violence. This campaign was held in collaboration with Family Protection Authority, Ministry of Gender and Family, Maldives Police Service, Society for Health Education, Family Protection Unit of IGMH, Hope for Women and Gender Advocacy Working Group (GAWG).
