FLC welcomes law students to volunteer with us in the form of assisting in legal consultations and in our research & awareness projects.

General Volunteers

Our volunteers platform is widely open to all members of the general public. If you would like to volunteer in our yearly activities or other programs run by FLC, drop us a message through our Facebook inbox or email to us.

What is the difference between getting a membership and becoming a volunteer?

Becoming a member of the Family Legal Clinic gives you the right to attend it's Annual General Meeting as well other meetings. You will also have the opportunity to vote on issues discussed during these meetings. Furthermore, you have the chance to run in the election held to select the Executive Committee (EXCO) every 5  years.

Members are not required to pay a membership fee.

By becoming a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the FLC team in carrying out it's yearly activities or volunteer in legal consultancy.

Lawyers, who would like to do pro bono time to the consultations, are specifically trained by the Society of Health Education on prevention of ‘gender based violence’ and communication skills.
